i started my first photography class, so i'll be working with film until further notice.

i've been avoiding my blog because i haven't been out with my camera too much lately because of the cold, and because i was worried i'd write something on here about recent events that have changed my opinion of a lot of people i know and it'd make them worse. but after some much needed time to myself and after burning a few bridges that only fed poison to my spirit i think i'm in a much better place now than i was a month ago. i'm no longer worried about what people say about me, or what they think about me. if you're not going to tell me to my face then i'm not even going to stress over you. i'm finished with forcing a smile around people i dislike. and therefore my outlook has been brightened. this blog won't be as gloomy as it has been. 2010 looks to be a much better year and maybe even a better decade.

So after reading a review of the new Pentax K-x I think I've changed my mind about getting a new camera. this one sounds really awesome (aside from the usage of the 4 AA batteries). With the two lens kit running nearly $700 it's almost a crime not to take advantage of this bargain. I always liked the Pentax brand when it came to analog cameras that I saw other people use, and I loved how this camera looked when I saw it in J&R Music World. $700 is a bit pricey for anything, but I think I'm gonna get this with my next check (and deal with being broke for a while).
